Before I started writing I knew little about the Cathars and tideAll productswhile writing I got a very strong feeling not to look anything up about them, but to follow my gut.
Afterwards, about 3.5 years later, I was of course very curious about the reactions of “Cathar specialists”. Bram Moerland and a few other specialists turned out to be very interested and I sent them a free copy. Then, several months later, I emailed them several times, even left them on the phone. I never received a response. Nothing.
Indirectly I have understood (because of what Bram Moerland has said in the media) that he opposes the ideas. The image I give of the Cathars appears to differ greatly from the “official” image on some points. But the official picture is based on what the Inquisition wrote down some 1,000 years ago.
